Trainings

CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen Training:

Health Education Staff are available on a limited basis to provide CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen Training to businesses, individuals and organizations in the community. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be Red Cross certified and will be issued certificates or cards.   This program is provided on a fee-for-service basis and can be scheduled by calling 1-800-504-2650.  A minimum of 5 participants per class is required or additional fees may apply.  For a list of services and cost please follow the link in the box on the right or contact your local health department office. 

In CPR and First Aid classes students will learn valuable information that can help save lives when tragedy strikes. Staff will teach all the necessary information to successfully pass course tests and provide hands-on training with modern lifesaving equipment including Automatic External Defibulators (AEDs).

In Bloodborne Pathogen Training students will learn how to recognize potentially dangerous situations and reduce the risk of disease transmission at the workplace or whenever potentially dangerous substances are present.  This course meets Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) standards for the workplace.
