Seasonal Flu Vaccinations

Seasonal Flu shots are now available for anyone over 6 months of age.  If your insurance does not cover the cost,  there is a $30 fee per vaccination.  Appointments are required and may be made by calling:

H1N1 Flu Vaccinations

 VACCINE IS FREE & AVAILABLE TO ANYONE OVER 6 MONTHS OLD

As a reminder, children age 9 and younger need a second vaccination 4 weeks after the first.

THERE WILL BE TWO TYPES OF H1N1 VACCINATIONS AVAILABLE:

1. Nasal Spray (Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine or LAIV)

  • A weakened form of the H1N1 virus that cannot reproduce at normal body temperatures. It is a good option for healthy people age 2 through 49 who are not pregnant.

2. Injectable Flu Shot

  • An inactivated form of the H1N1 virus that is injected into the muscle of the upper arm or upper leg. It may be given to anyone 6 months or older.

PLEASE BRING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT:

Please bring your insurance card with you. THERE IS NO COST FOR THIS VACCINATION but an administration fee will be billed to those with insurance. There is no charge or co-pay of any kind regardless of insurance status.
