Health Educators: Working for WellnessHealth Educators are professionals who work to promote, maintain and improve wellness and healthy lifestyles among the communities they serve. They are multi-faceted individuals who use a variety of tools and strategies in educating and protecting the public. Health Education Division at DHD2The Health Education Division is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating education programs related to health throughout the District 2 service area. Each staff member performs services in one or more of the following areas: Tobacco Control/ Smoke-Free Policy Youth Tobacco Regulation Drug Free Communities Support Program Pandemic Planning/ Emergency Preparedness/ Bioterrorism CPR, Bloodborne Pathogen & Occupational Safety Training Health Information and Referrals |
